Kian is a Sydney-based accompanist with extensive experience preparing students for AMEB exams up to diploma level, HSC music exams and scholarship auditions. He also works as a rehearsal and performance pianist for community choirs, and was one of the official accompanists for the Flute Society of NSW Eisteddfod in 2024 and 2025.
Kian started playing the piano at the age of eight. His teachers include Paul Virag and Rachel Valler. He regularly attends international workshops and festivals, including the pianoSonoma workshop at the Juilliard School in New York, the AlpenKammerMusik festival in Austria (2026) and the Melbourne International Festival of Lieder and Art Song (2019), where he performed in masterclasses led by Graham Johnson.
